Bondwebs.com has created this page to help families in West Texas take advantage of a free service provided by the Freedom Calls Foundation and AT&T (SW Bell Telephone) to connect them with their family members serving in Iraq.

Freedom Calls Foundation?

Freedom Calls Foundation is a type B not for profit entity incorporated in the State of New York and registered with the Charities Bureau of the State of New York Department of Law. The Foundation has received an advanced ruling of eligibility for tax exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code effective September 28, 2003. The Foundation's proffer of communications services to the United States Army has been formally accepted in a letter signed by the Acting Secretary of the Army, R. L. Brownlee. The Foundation has received a commendation from the Army and a personal letter of appreciation from Major General Taguba for services rendered to the troops and their families.

You may be able to see and hear your military loved ones in Iraq!

Here are the details:
 
Only three Iraqi locations Only Al Asad, Taji, and Camp Fallujah .
  Individual arrangements are sometime possible if troops are going to be in one of these locations at a set tune,
 
The service is free All costs are paid by AT&T and the Foundation.
 
West Texas Locations Region 18 Service Center (at Midland-Odessa Airport),
Abilene, Lubbock, and Amarillo all have videoconferencing capability.
Family members will have to be present at one of these locations for the call.
 
Only by appointment Certain special days are planned ahead, but individual appointments are being made often.
